NASA Technology Invented by OYO Fitness Founder

OYO Fitness founder and CEO Paul Francis invented the SpiraFlex Resistive Exercise Device (iRED) for NASA’s mission critical program to counteract astronaut bone and muscle loss caused by long term exposure to zero gravity. Before deploying the SpiraFlex iRED to the International Space Station (ISS), a 16-week earth based study was commissioned by NASA, which found the SpiraFlex group gained the same strength and muscular growth as the free weight group, with significant increases in lean muscle mass.
